Remaking My Voice
A few years ago, Film Critic Roger Ebert was
stricken with a terrible bout of Cancer that could
have ultimately killed him had his jaw not been removed.
This came as a blow to Ebert, since he was a self described
motor mouth all his life. The talk was how the Internet and the
digital age has granted him the ability to speak
and communicate as never before.
Mr. Ebert goes into detail about how our digital age has given men like him
the opportunity to not be trapped in their own mind like so many
have been before we gained the ability to text, Skype, Twitter, and Facebook.
There are many foolish and ignorant people who believe the internet is pulling
us apart day by day. But Ebert says that he could not possibly exist without it.
